One of the strongest brand partnerships in contemporary sport, Ferrari and Puma have enjoyed a relationship since 2005 that has seen the latter company provide apparel and footwear to the Italian racing team and carmaker. As part of this deal, which was extended in 2011, Puma is one of Ferrari’s main licensing partners, and provides a large amount of Ferrari Grand Prix Merchandise to fans. What are some of the main features of this relationship, and what are the items that fans should be looking out for?

Puma and Ferrari have worked together on various branded items over the past eight years, with Puma also providing kit for the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team. Key items have included footwear, trainers, and more recently, special edition Ferrari handbags and EVOSPEED shoes, as well as officially licensed jackets that emulate the style of the Scuderia team for fans of the Italian brand.

Other items that are part of the Puma and Ferrari partnership include everything from sweatshirts to t shirts, caps, and polo shirts and V necks. Puma similarly produce Ferrari branded team bags in collaboration with the carmaker, as well as an extensive range of different shoes for sports and everyday wear. Indeed, associations with Ferrari have helped to push through some of Puma’s most innovative shoe styles over the past few years.

Current shoes that are featured in Puma and Ferrari catalogues include Speed Cat SuperLT shoes, as well as Scuderia branded footwear in gold styles. Puma also do well out of the relationship, which also forms just one part of a much wider association with a number of famous sports brand. Under its Puma SE label, the Austrian sportswear company has forged strong deals with Ducati and BMW, and also produces football boots and racing suits. More recently, Puma have expanded their investment in the English Premier League by becoming Arsenal’s new £30 million a year kit sponsor, while continuing to reinforce their ties to Ferrari with new fashion lines and deals.
