The lineup of 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 got released in a more refined tone and with heightened usability. It has now become one of the best options for cargo, while its other capacities are no less than its rivals, if not more.

One of the customers we met at the Jacksonville Chevrolet dealership showroom updated us with the news that Chevrolet has assigned a new design for the 2019 model edition of its work truck Silverado 1500 that slims down by dropping 450 pounds of curb weight in the process, while being more focused on its purpose than it was ever. Both the cargo bed and the cab size got bigger with more number of features that make this model a brawny pickup option for those who are into the business of regular hauling of bulky cargo as well as people. Chevrolet has also improved the road manners of the 2019 Silverado model series, apart from adding the necessary safety feature packages.

2019 Trim Models

For 2019, the Silverado work truck series from Chevrolet has expanded from six to eight number of trim models that come as Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, LT Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, and High Country trims offering plenty of feature options under each model.

Enhanced Power Options

The lineup of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 powertrain expands as well for its 2019 model year release. The capacity of the engine starts with a 4.3-liter V-6 one, climbs higher through the 5.3-liter V-8, and reaches till the 6.2-liter V-8 option. Among them, the 5.3 engine splits further into two versions: one that pairs with a 6-speed automatic transmission with an Active Fuel Management to shut down the four cylinders when the vehicle is driving under lightweight payload conditions and a new version, and the other being paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission equipped with the new Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM) system of GM that is able to shut down all the six cylinders in the above said condition.

The 6.2-liter V-8 engine on the other hand gets a DFM after pairing to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2.7-liter turbo-4 engine also gets an 8-speed automatic transmission while the 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-6 is given the benefit of a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Scale of Performance

With the newly framed body, and the mixed materials strategy of its mother concern GM, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is now always ready to deliver a smoother ride that has got a much improved dynamics to move the right way. Though larger in size than its earlier version, the 2019 Silverado 1500 from Chevrolet has become more efficient in terms of direct steering, controlled handling and a smooth ride.

With this 2019 lineup of Silverado 1500 Chevy is also offering the options to its buyers to drive the truck models as rear- or four-wheel configurations with a low-range gear, while the body styles can also be opted from a wide range of options that include regular cab, double cab, and Crew Cab body styles.

As the Editor-in-Chief of 8Blogs.com, she leads the editorial vision of one of the web's most ambitious business and industry publications — a platform dedicated to delivering sharp, credible, and actionable content for professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders across the globe. Abby's journey into the world of professional writing and editing began long before her byline appeared on any publication. Growing up with a natural curiosity for how businesses work, how economies shift, and how leadership shapes organizations, she found herself drawn to the intersection of journalism and business from an early age. That passion led her to Ohio University — one of the United States' most respected public research universities, located in Athens, Ohio — where she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications. Ohio University's School of Media Arts and Studies gave Abby a rigorous academic foundation in editorial ethics, news writing, investigative reporting, audience analysis, and multimedia storytelling. It was here that she developed the disciplined writing habits and critical thinking skills that would define her professional career. She graduated with a deep understanding of what separates good content from truly great content — and a firm commitment to always delivering the latter. Before stepping into a full editorial role, Abby gained invaluable real-world experience through internships at newspapers, regional magazines, and online publishing companies. These early career placements were formative. Working in fast-paced newsrooms taught her how to research under pressure, verify facts rigorously, and write with clarity and precision on tight deadlines. Her internship experiences also gave her a front-row seat to the rapid transformation of media — from print-first thinking to digital-first strategy — a shift she embraced fully and has championed ever since. Over the following six to seven years, Abby built a diverse and impressive portfolio spanning writing, reporting, editorial assistance, and content strategy. She has covered topics ranging from startup ecosystems and venture capital trends to leadership philosophy, workplace culture, global trade, and emerging technologies. Her work is consistently praised for being well-researched, reader-friendly, and genuinely insightful — never sacrificing depth for the sake of brevity, nor clarity for the sake of complexity. At 8Blogs.com, Abby oversees a broad editorial mandate that spans twelve content categories including Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Technology, HR, Sustainability, and Global Business. She sets the tone, maintains editorial standards, and ensures that every article published reflects the publication's core values — integrity, depth, and practical intelligence. When she is not editing or writing, Abby stays close to the business world through industry events, professional reading, and mentoring emerging writers who are just beginning their own editorial journeys.
