The very name Chevrolet Corvette as been associated with the delivery of power and performance, that was unimaginably presented in a reasonable price. The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette has been an American icon since many years and now its performance is doing full justice to its name, while Chevrolet didn’t leave the opportunity to grab the attention of all car buyers by offering them its capacity through a variety of power options. All these options are given respective names to make the lineup stronger, varied and sound interesting. At the Houston Chevrolet dealer we were shown the different trim levels of 2019 Chevrolet Corvette and we see them as Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06, and the new ZR1 models. The models are available both as coupe and convertible body styles and their performances get better as you climb up higher the ladder.

Performance Chart

Corvette’s calling card lies in its performance that starts right there with the base trim Stingray and keeps soaring higher when you choose the Grand Sport that has a 455 of horsepower up its sleeve to boast and as you climb still higher the price, a 6.2-liter V-8 engine awaits you to experience a horsepower raised to 460, while the acceleration time to 60 mph from a 0 takes as quick as 3.6 seconds which is simply amazing.

The 6.2-liter V-8 engine supercharges the Z06 trim to deliver a horsepower as high as 650 hp with an equally tall torque of 650 pound-feet. This powertrain shows its capability through its speedy yet smooth acceleration of 0-60 mph in a time that takes lesser than three seconds.

The Z07 package that is ordered for the Grand Sport and Z06 trim now adds even more track-based features to reach their capability to the maximum level.

For the power crazy drivers, Chevrolet goes to the length of making the ZR1 trim that is to show how a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine can raise the bar of horsepower to a crazy count of 755 hp with a  715 lb-ft of torque to handle that much of energy when it flies off the ground, especially when driving through off-road terrains. To set it on fire the ZTK package added to the ZR1 gifts it a big rear wing and a stiffer suspension that pushes the ZR1 to a maximum speed of 212 mph. only the drivers who can handle such super cars should be given that much of freedom, says an expert we met at the Houston Chevy dealer. However, all the trims of the 2019 Chevrolet Corvettes are offered a 7-speed manual transmission or a quick-shifting 8-speed automatic to mate with the high capacity engines to build up those horsepower and torque rates.

Handling the 2019 Corvette

Handling the base model of the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette will be easier because of the Z51 package that will stiffen the suspension for you. On the other hand, the upgraded brakes, with the improved aerodynamics tweaks will add an electronically controlled limited-slip differential in order to improve the performance ratio as well as the track endurance.

As the Editor-in-Chief of 8Blogs.com, she leads the editorial vision of one of the web's most ambitious business and industry publications — a platform dedicated to delivering sharp, credible, and actionable content for professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders across the globe. Abby's journey into the world of professional writing and editing began long before her byline appeared on any publication. Growing up with a natural curiosity for how businesses work, how economies shift, and how leadership shapes organizations, she found herself drawn to the intersection of journalism and business from an early age. That passion led her to Ohio University — one of the United States' most respected public research universities, located in Athens, Ohio — where she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications. Ohio University's School of Media Arts and Studies gave Abby a rigorous academic foundation in editorial ethics, news writing, investigative reporting, audience analysis, and multimedia storytelling. It was here that she developed the disciplined writing habits and critical thinking skills that would define her professional career. She graduated with a deep understanding of what separates good content from truly great content — and a firm commitment to always delivering the latter. Before stepping into a full editorial role, Abby gained invaluable real-world experience through internships at newspapers, regional magazines, and online publishing companies. These early career placements were formative. Working in fast-paced newsrooms taught her how to research under pressure, verify facts rigorously, and write with clarity and precision on tight deadlines. Her internship experiences also gave her a front-row seat to the rapid transformation of media — from print-first thinking to digital-first strategy — a shift she embraced fully and has championed ever since. Over the following six to seven years, Abby built a diverse and impressive portfolio spanning writing, reporting, editorial assistance, and content strategy. She has covered topics ranging from startup ecosystems and venture capital trends to leadership philosophy, workplace culture, global trade, and emerging technologies. Her work is consistently praised for being well-researched, reader-friendly, and genuinely insightful — never sacrificing depth for the sake of brevity, nor clarity for the sake of complexity. At 8Blogs.com, Abby oversees a broad editorial mandate that spans twelve content categories including Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Technology, HR, Sustainability, and Global Business. She sets the tone, maintains editorial standards, and ensures that every article published reflects the publication's core values — integrity, depth, and practical intelligence. When she is not editing or writing, Abby stays close to the business world through industry events, professional reading, and mentoring emerging writers who are just beginning their own editorial journeys.
